My friend and hiking partner Lisa was working in Heptonstall today (it’s a village on top of a hill above Hebden Bridge, the small West Yorkshire town in which we live). It was a lovely sunny day so I power-walked up the steep hill to meet her after work for a coffee.
We came down the hill via Heptonstall Quarry which is on the opposite side of the hill, with spectacular views down the valley.
I had intended to take my camera to take some photos to include here but I forgot so I’m posting a couple from walks earlier in the summer.
